ME Program is hosting two sheflies Drone Camps at two Hunter locations in April.
Female students from West Wallsend, Toronto HS, Hunter School of Performing Arts, Merewether HS, Tomaree HS, St Philips Christian College Port Stephens and Medowie Christian School will attend ‘camps’ to help them learn drone piloting.
The camps will teach girls:
– Manual flight tutorial and practice (hands-on)
– Scenario based flight practice activities (hands-on)
– Real-life applications of drone technology
– Australian regulations, safety considerations, flight briefing
Girls will work in teams of three throughout the sessions and swap between the roles of Pilot in Charge and Co-Pilot. You will learn by undertaking ‘real life’ scenarios.
