RDA Hunter and the Tech Girls Movement joined forces to deliver 6 virtual workshops to primary and secondary students in the Hunter throughout May. A big thank you to our teachers from Wallsend PS, Islington PS, Jesmond PS, Toronto HS, St Joseph’s Lochinvar and Stockton PS for arranging these fun and interactive sessions for you students.
The two-hour long sessions took the students through the problem solving, design progress and research stages of app development to address a problem they see in their school, local community or even on a global scale.
While we would normally run these workshops face to face, we were please to still be able to offer the workshops in the current climate. Each session was facilitated by Techgirls superstars Jaq Tate and Amie Cossens.
To have a more in depth look at each session and the amazing ideas the students came up with, head to the Techgirls blog post here.
