

Held at the University of Western Sydney’s Penrith Campus, ME Program schools were well represented at the State Finals of the F1 in Schools Competition held from 5th to 7th November. Eight out of a total of 39 top teams in the state were from the Hunter.
The two top teams in the Senior Professional Class (the most difficult division) were ME schools, with 1st place going to Pentesellate from Mt View High School, and second going to team Sine Wave from St Philip’s in Newcastle. Both of these teams have earned an invitation to compete in the Australian National Championships in March 2019.
In the Development Class division, 2nd place was taken by Mount View High School’s Impro Racing, and 3rd place M.K.B.D Racing from Cessnock High School.
In the Cadet Class division, 1st and 2nd places went to St Philip’s in Newcastle.
