In February 2015 Maggie was appointed by the Australian Industry Group (AiGroup) to the position of Manager, STEM Skills Project, a national project funded by the Office of the Chief Scientist. Her responsibilities included mapping STEM programs and initiatives across Australia and identifying and rolling out a pilot program focused on school-industry STEM partnerships. The mapping document has been published online and in hard copy as STEM Programme Index 2016 (SPI 2016) by the Office of the Chief Scientist and was released in early 2016 with hundreds of copies requested by and distributed to teachers and educators across Australia.
