RDA Hunter’s 2018 Mars Rover Challenge
Hello StarLAB teachers!
The StarLAB team would like to invite you to RDA Hunter’s 2018 Mars Rover Challenge! It’s the perfect opportunity for all schools to come together and test our their Python prowess.
Be sure to RSVP as soon as you can!
The Mars Rover Challenge will be held at The Forum, the University of Newcastle over two days (23rd and 24th of October). The first day is an opportunity for students to get familiar with the course, test out some ideas and fine-tune their code. On day two students will be able to show off their code and see who will be able to make their way through the Martian terrain! We’ll also have some other activities for students including our previous Hackathon challenges and test navigation courses.
For remote schools who might not be able to attend in person, we’ll also be organising a way for students to remote access the rover and engage in the challenge. Stay tuned for updates!
Every two weeks up until the challenge you’ll be receiving updates from us including the challenge guidebook, in-class activities to get you ready and more information about the event. We can’t wait to see you at the challenge.
Please RSVP as soon as possible with how many students you want to bring along to the Hackathon, we can’t wait to see you there!
