The ME Program is hosting two ‘camps’ in the January school holidays for girls to learn drone piloting.
The two day sheflies events will be held at two Hunter locations – PCYC Port Stephens and Hunter School of Performing Arts. The camps will teach girls:
Manual flight tutorial and practice (hands-on)
Scenario based flight practice activities (hands-on)
Real-life applications of drone technology

Girls will work in teams of three throughout the sessions and swap between the roles of Pilot in Charge, Co-Pilot, and Air Traffic Controller. You will learn by undertaking ‘real life’ scenarios.
