Bots and Beers RDA Hunter’s ME Program Takes Robotic Technology to the Community

IMG_0832As part of National Science Week the ME Program in conjunction with the Hunter Innovation and Science Hub hosted ‘Bots and Beers’ at the Foghorn Brewhouse Newcastle tonight. Over 40 community members had the opportunity to experience 3D printing technology with our industry partners ME3D. A display of robotic technologies used in the ME Program was also display including drones and virtual reality glasses. The participants had a great time partaking in some beer tasting, eating some great food from Foghorn and experiencing some new technologies for the first time. The next planned event at Foghorn will be based around the science and chemistry of beer.
