Congratulations to Mount View High’s Revolution Racing team for making the Hunter proud, representing us so expertly at the National Finals of the F1inSchools competition held in Adelaide this week.
The team came fourth overall in the Professional division of the competition with 710.6 points, an improvement on their 6th placing last year. The points difference between first and fourth was only 33.1 and the difference between fourth and tenth was 260, so they were close to the top.
The team indicated that a major highlight of the week was meeting local, state and federal politicians emphasising the great achievements their school. In doing so also highlighting the Hunter’s smart and cutting edge STEM initiatives run by the ME Program.
The ME Program has been a supporter of the team for several years and has been impressed by how these young men have developed and represented the Hunter and their school. Well done and we image very bright futures for these young people.

The top three places were:
1 – ‘Golden Diversity’ from Queechy High (Tasmania) with 743.7 points
2 – ‘Hyperdrive’ from Trinity Grammar (Victoria) with 729.2 points
3 – ‘Instant Transmission’ from Queechy High (Tasmania) with 720 points
