RDA Hunter is proud of its support from Australia’s Department of Defence to implement the ME Program.
The Department of Defence supports the ME Program through its The School Pathways Programme (SPP) that helps reduce skills shortages in defence industry by increasing the pool of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) educated students and informing Australia’s youth about employment opportunities and pathways into defence industry. The SPPs currently run in New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and nationally through the Re-Engineering Australia Foundation.
The Department of Defence’s work to prepare a future workforce is also supported by the Workforce Behind the Defence Force campaign which highlights real people in real jobs in Australia’s defence industry. The second phase of the Government’s campaign features a range of people undertaking jobs including systems engineering and project management.
