Students from Scone High participated in Robocop Competition
For the short time Scone High has been part of the ME Program, the teachers have seen dramatic changes in its students. Through their preparation for the Robocop Competition held at University of Newcastle on 2nd August, teacher, Joanne Cutler has seen introverted students ‘come out of their shell’. The students are more confident, the ability to make friends with those of similar interests and work as part of a team to reach an outcome.
Having the ‘hands on experience, is seeing students of both academic and non-academic students thrive on the responsibility and positive results are being seen in such a short time.
It is envisaged that next year senior students will mentor the younger students.
