The sheflies Summer Drone Camps planned in Port Stephens and Newcastle have been postponed.
The events will be rescheduled during Term One of 2018.

SHEFLIES DRONE CAMPS
Female students across the Hunter are invited to attend ‘camps’ to help them learn drone piloting.
The camps will teach girls:
– Manual flight tutorial and practice (hands-on)
– Scenario based flight practice activities (hands-on)
– Real-life applications of drone technology
– Australian regulations, safety considerations, flight briefing
Girls will work in teams of three throughout the sessions and swap between the roles of Pilot in Charge and Co-Pilot. You will learn by undertaking ‘real life’ scenarios.
She Flies generates conversation around gender equality in STEM, using the world of drones to inspire and provide a platform for change to occur. She Flies builds high quality STEM leadership and learning opportunities through drone education.
