Over 75 schools throughout NSW endorsed to run the ME Program iSTEM course now have far more flexibility in the delivery of the course. They continue to have the option to run iSTEM for 100 or 200 hours, however, version 2.1 includes three additional modules; Design for Space, Surveying and Statistics in Action.
In addition both the 50 hour modules of CAD/CAM and Major Project have been split into smaller 25 hour units. This allows for either 25 hour or 50 hour units to be included in a schools program. CAD/CAM is broken up into Unit 1 and 2 and the Major Research Project is now STEM Project Based Learning Task (Minor) and STEM Project Based Learning Task (Major).
The iSTEM course is a NSW BOSTES School Developed Board Endorsed Course. It is being delivered by some of NSW’s top STEM Schools, including New England Girls School, Parramatta Marist Brothers, Cherrybrook Technology High, Maitland Grossmann High School, Kinross Wolaroi, MacKillop College, Hunter Valley Grammar School, etc.
