RDA Hunter’s ME Program held a Future Careers Seminar for students in years 10 to 12 at Hunter School of Performing Arts on Friday 8th June. The event which promoted real and future job opportunities and pathways was attended by 200 students.
Students were addressed by leading Hunter industry representatives including:
Rick Calvert-Jackson from UAVAir,
Andy Roberts from Jacobs,
Tim Davidson from Virtual Perspective and
SQNLDR Nathan Draper from RAAF Airforce
“RDA Hunter was very pleased to connect students at HSPA with Hunter industry reps. Introducing ‘real’ people to students helps them better understand the jobs and roles available here in the Hunter and how the STEM skills they’re learning at school are applied in the workplace.” said RDA Hunter’s STEM Workforce Manager Rick Evans.
