MARS ROVER CHALLENGE
October 22 @ 9:30 am - October 23 @ 3:00 pm
The Mars Rover Challenge will be held at The Forum, the University of Newcastle over two days (22nd and 23rd of October). The first day is an opportunity for students to get familiar with the course, test out some ideas and fine-tune their code. On day two, students will be able to show off their code and see who will be able to make their way through the Martian terrain! We’ll also have some other activities for students, including our previous Hackathon challenges and test navigation courses.
For remote schools who might not be able to attend in person, we’ll also be organising a way for students to remote access the rover and engage in the challenge. Stay tuned for updates!
Don’t forget! This year we are delighted to announce the first-place prize is a StarLAB Core platform and access to Primer for 2020!
Please RSVP by 27th September by sending your name, school and the number of students attending to firstname.lastname@example.org
Morning tea and lunch will be provided for teachers.
We can’t wait to see you there!
