AS PART OF NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK, RDA HUNTER’S ME PROGRAM IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HUNTER SCIENCE AND INNOVATION HUB RECENTLY STAGED TWO EVENTS TO INTRODUCE THE COMMUNITY TO ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGY INCLUDING 3D PRINTING AND UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
As part of National Science Week, RDA Hunter’s ME Program in conjunction with the Hunter Science and Innovation Hub recently staged two events to introduce the community to robotic technology including 3D printing and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). Drones in the Vines was an outstanding success with over 50 in attendance.
Drones in the Vines was staged in conjunction with Hunter based UAV Air, Australia’s leading UAV training provider. It was held at Glandore Estate Wines, Pokolbin and introduced guests to drone technology through demonstrations, seminars and hands-on activities. It also highlighted the advantages that new technology such as drones can deliver traditional industries such as agri-business.
