Manufacturing Systems Engineers
- Are specialist mechanical engineers who design and improve systems and equipment that complete tasks accurately and change raw materials into products
- Plan, design and oversee the development, installation, operation, maintenance and improvement of machinery. They conduct research to solve practical engineering problems and improve efficiency
Day to day tasks include designing new machines, equipment or systems, using CAD to assist in design and drawing, carrying out research into the implementation of different production processes, supervising the operations of the manufacturing process, managing the maintenance of factory production and machinery, setting up work control systems.
